I've seen where you can get customizable magnetic screens you make any size you want, and they use long magnet strips along all 4 sides of the screen to hold it in place. That ought to avoid any gaps. Here is one company that makes such a product. May look into that.
As for the seals on the window. I have been doing this for about 10 years now with no leaks but I always wipe the seal with 303 protectant
Thanks for the tip, will definitely wipe the seals with some of that if we go this route. :)
