Opinion needed if you've owned a TT and a FW

I have both and the 5er is better to me. Easier to hook up, tow and back.

The other thing is a 5th wheel has much more storage underneath.

yeah, I can promise you we have been everyone's free entertainment from day one and especially today when I hooked up ( or attempted to) the stabilizing bars and one fell off when we pulled out. I'm over it!

We have a ford f250 power stroke 6. 0. Gvwr 9600 I think, doesn't give us much with FW but if we trade TT don't want to also take a loss on truck, I'm sure there is something out there though.

FW if you have the truck to handle it. IMHO at least a 2500 for a FW even a small FW. A TT if you don't.

I've owned two tt's and now since 2006 a fifth wheel. My opinion is 5er all the way. Easy to hook up, easy to tow, easy to back up and a lot more head room.

I did like my Keystone Cougar tt but now I would never go back.

We have owned both. Currently on our 2nd FW. LOVE it and so much better than TT in towing and living. We use ours all year and it is so much better in the winter months.

I know people will disagree but I feel like every time I see a broken down camper when traveling or read something about an accident for me, it's always a TT. My husband broke his ankle and after a month of laying around he wanted to go camping. Against my better judgement we went. I had a very hard time doing the things he does to hook up the TT and also didn't know how to do them although I watched him do it for a year. We bought our first camper (TT) last year. We never looked at FW because of price. I'm starting to wish we got a FW.
