Opinions on 3400 champion inverter generator.
In the market for genny for 3 or 4 times a year boon docking. About 1000 dollars. Any opinions on it? Would appreciate in advance.

I have never read or seen where 3 db is the difference a person can detect, although that could be an accurate description
Im sure the detectable amount varies by person
3d gain is a doubling of previous measured electrical energy introduced in the meter by the sound level, it is a logarithmic scale
Example IF measured sound produces 1 mv in the sensor, 2 mv will be 3db, 4mv 6db, 8Mv 9db , 16mv 12db
Each 3db is a doubling of the previous induced/ measured energy level
Measured energy is not the same as human physical perception
The differences between Honda and champion, are not worth, all the berating that goes on around here
Because some prefer to spend less $$ for a champion instead of a Honda
