Opinions on heat strip for A/C - UPDATED with Results

a ceramic cube heater will put out as much heat, can be, moved to where heat is needed, and the fan noise would be similar to the AC fan but you wouldn't be wearing out an expensive AC fan. if you have ducted air much of the heat from that heat strip will be lost in the duct work. plus I have been in campgrounds that charge extra for electric heat. an air conditioner fan buzzing when it is 32 degrees out will be a clue.
