We use our A/C fan at night to mitigate outside noises when necessary - you know: slamming, diesels, motorcycles, dogs, TVs, music, traffic, trains... ;)
It is AMAZING the number of folks I read complaining about the noise from that fan, yet left on high,,, What you post applies. (I know, that's how I do it too).. Good job, clearly you have a working brain.
Heat Strips on the A/C do warm the rig some, but the heat is at the ceiling, (hot air tends to rise, which is why we hold politicians in such esteem, they are so full of hot air they have risen you see, and yes this is a joke).
I find space heaters on the floor more to my liking.
however in the confines of a trailer, heat strips do work and do save space and you do not trip over them.. So I will say go for it.
Also, Most RV outlets are marginal at best with a space heater load.
I know of at least two which failed, One gave hot wire smell (mine) and the other crackled and died.. (I put in heavy duty outlets for the heaters and no problems since, 15/20 amp design with 12ga feeds)
