This is the text of the zoning ordinance enacted in March of 2014 by the City of Springfield MA.
LINKSection 4.4.40

The storage of a MOBILE HOME, TRAVEL TRAILER, RECREATIONAL VEHICLE or boat exceeding twenty (20) feet in length shall not be permitted in any residential ZONING DISTRICT. No MOBILE HOME, TRAVEL TRAILER, RECREATIONAL VEHICLE or boat of any size shall be stored within the FRONT YARD in any residential ZONING DISTRICT.
I can believe that no RVs are allowed in Springfield MA. :E
Have you noticed any nice new storage facility in the area??? I can understand the driveway ban, but a total ban on anything bigger than 20' even if stored in a backyard out of normal sight??
Sounds like someone has a new storage yard and is looking for business!
