Can't be stated enough!!Some of these parks are hard to get into even in early spring!!
I have been coming to the Oregon Coast when we lived in Washington, new on my list is South Beach SP just about a mile south of Newport, very nice park! Then again as has been reported in this thread, I don't think Oregon has a bad SP.
Noted on the north coast is Fort Stevens SP over 500 camp sites, and directly across the entrance is a very nice KOA with about 100 more sites.
McMinnville was mentioned earlier, and the Aviation Museum, it is also the heart of Oregon Wine Country and Stone Village is a very nice RV park. We spent a Wine Country weekend there just after Thanksgiving.
