I had more on my mind, but it is so frustrating having the government pass more and more laws without direct voter input, my head is going to explode. These 'peers' that show up to meetings do not provide a balanced cross section of the people. At least I'm not in Portland, but I'm stuck in the same county.
Then again, maybe I'm the responsible smoker and don't understand the issue?
No direct voter input? The voters put those guys in office. That's how direct voter input works.
JMO but I'm guessing that the bill would pass 100% of the time with direct voter input. Smoking is frowned upon across the U.S.
