Will you get a 1099? If yes, then it has been reported and you will have to file. Luckily at a dollar a day it will take a long time to make enough to have to pay. Unless your other income is enough to push you into a higher tax bracket. In Oregon you need to figure out how to not get paid. Like volumteer or like someone else suggested, barter
