See, that's just it. I'm not sure there are any penalties because I'm not so sure it's illegal, after all, the dealership says 'out of state' customers do it all the time. I would imagine the dealer would be setting themselves up for one heck of a law suit if they were promoting an illegal activity.
Not sure about Idaho but illegal in Ca. Saw many people live in Ca. but had rigs registered in other states till they got caught..back fees and penalties sure ate up what they thought they were saving and much more!
