What I heard was, "Profanity is the sign of an inarticulate *bleep*"
I used to laugh when I visited one warehouse. There was one guy who could not emit a sentence without an f-bomb. Not one. Yet he worked in people's homes regularly, so he had to be able to turn it off.

About the profanity comments.....I remember years ago (early 70's) seeing a sign at the rifle range on Langley AFB in Virginia that said..."Profanity is the result of an ignorant mind trying to express itself." Still remember that to this day.....HOW TRUE!
