One thing I briefly checked was the Magnadyne owners manual. No mention of output power anywhere. My guess it is very limited. You could just be up against the wall of only a few watts per channel output, somewhat inefficient speakers, and the great outdoors soaking up the sound.
Yes, up to speed. I do believe the unit is so old & under power that it contributes to the problem.
