All dressed chips are Canadian. Ruffles brand. They are just now starting to make their way into the states. They are the best.
Really like those myself. I've been buying them at Hy-vee since last year. They really do encapsulate a few of the typical flavors I've associated with "Canadian". (salt and vinegar, for example).
On topic - Since the guy/gal is long gone, yeah, I'm not sure what you would have done differently, and it's your RV, so...whatever.
I grew up in an area where Mom and Dad never locked their doors to the car, left the keys in the ignition (so Dad could move my car out of the way), everyone knows each other in those types of tiny towns. But it just takes one or two incidents when someone like me moves to the larger cities, and boy do I lock my doors, never leave the keys in, etc. It took two aftermarket stereos being stolen in a parking garage. No windows broken, either!
I've had more stuff stolen in the Twin Cities area in the "small" town with a population of around 30,000 in 23 years of living here than I ever did growing up and moving around on military bases. Then again - military tends to attract a certain type of people who don't typically steal.
