The whole area up there is beyond gorgeous and we go up there a lot. What a shame that forest fire had done and the lost very long tome lodge too. Stopped short of the Tahquamenon Falls area though which is a blessing.
No doubt about it, Different RV for different trips, desires, and needs. There's not ONE RV made or has been made that does it all or remotely is best for all Rving or camping. That's why we had so many different RV's at any given time! Our various RV's over our last 50+ years included a custom van conversion, popup trailers, a true class B, class C's, class A's, TT's, popup and hard side TC's, 5th wheels, 2 boats with custom designed true camping full enclosures, and yes we even had a cabin tent. Took many boats, canoes, pedal and motorized trailbikes, roadbikes, mopeds, scooters, and enclosed or open trailers along and each had their purpose for adventure and fun. The lasting memories are yours to have for ever and no one can ever take them away from you. If you didn't actually do the adventure or had just talked about it, you'll have NO memories of what was experienced or the fun had.
