I need a new desktop for my home. Was wondering about getting a laptop and using a big screen on my desk. Are laptops as durable as desktops?

I would get a laptop. At home, you can connect it to a large monitor, an external keyboard and mouse. On the road, you can use the built in components. I have only used a laptop for many years. I have traveled many miles on aircraft with my work laptop without any problem.
