I need a new desktop for my home. Was wondering about getting a laptop and using a big screen on my desk. Are laptops as durable as desktops?

- I work in IT and have had Laptops since about 1987 or so, I traveled with them all the time never had an issue. New ones are very good.
- I think you will find them as durable and certainly take up less space. Many have around 20" screens which matches the monitor on my previous PC. I find it nice to not be tied down to one location with lap top. Desk, to kitchen table, to picnic table and easy to travel with in the RV.
