Sorry!:h I was not trying to troll, but I guess on this forum if you try to inform outside the bounds of moderator opinion that makes you one. Regardless,the intent of the post was to caution that maybe a little due diligence might help all of us be better informed. That said, I suspect the moderator will delete this post too since I guess I don't have enough posts over the years to qualify for a voice here. YMMV!:)

I would not mind working for Amazon I think it would be a hoot. But I do have two concerns one is the RV sites as the ones in Fernly are booked, Desert Rose and Fernly RV, making a longer drive and the second is the possibility of having to work graveyard. I am a retired firefighter and have spent many long nights on fires, the longest 31 hours and I did work Black Friday at Wal-Mart in Mesa. Basically I do not feel I preform at my best on the night shift. The reason I wrote about Fernly is I have family in California and I would like to spend Christmas with them.I do have a saved application filled out but just maybe to chicken to pull the trigger.JimR

90 mile drive for us. We were READY when we got there. The thing was that the rules said we had to wait an additional 10 min before testing...???? Really??

Yep I did the drug test in Rapid City on Monday, 2 cups of coffee and a big glass of chocolate milk and a 35 mile drive. Gads it was good to finally get to the test, as said by the receptionist I did a lot of studying.

Emailed Fernley Monday, got the Bkgrd check done by Mon nite, did the drug test today and are scheduled to start 5 Oct. Whooopee (I think). Good luck in Coffeyville.

In terms of taking care of your fur children (I have 7 fur children so I can empathize!) the centers tell me that in the past couple of year for each location there has been at least one person in the campground that has offered to be a dog sitter. Of course we can't promise that but it hasn't seemed to be an issue without resolution before.

Any other questions or concerns please don't hesitate to contact me! If you don't hear back immediately I am either traveling or at an event (I will be at the Hershey PA RV Show this coming week - come visit us if you attend the event!) but will always answer back as quickly as I can.
