We work different days. Wife works part time, Sat-Sun only, and I work Mon-Tue-Thur-Fri. so our dog is never alone. I know others here who have pet sitters for their dog. I don't know if they pay for the service or trade dog-watching with them on other days. You won't have time to "visit" them during lunch break, only 30 minutes, and it's usually a long walk from work area to where you parked. Best bet would be to either work different shifts on same day. We did that back in '09 and the dog was alone for 1.5 hours. Or try to find a pet sitter while you're at work.
