Paper dolls

I remember reading in the past about paper dolls that could be printed out and colored. Seems that it was from a book series. People have used these to communicate with grandchildren while on the road. I've tried searching, but haven't been able to come up with what I remember seeing. Can anyone help with this?

  • For our little neighbor girl, I took Flat Stanley on a trip with me once. I was asked to take a picture of the two of us everywhere I went. When I got back, she and I wrote a story for school about Flat Stanley's vacation. It was alot of fun. She still has that little book after all these years!

    Thanks for this info!

  • Yes! Flat Stanley is the little guy I was thinking of! I remember seeing the templates you could print out and color to resemble yourself. Thanks so much!

  • How about "Flat Stanley"?

    Flat Stanley

This was an elementary school project for the grandkids and we took Flat Stanley traveling with us and took his picture with neat places we saw. The kids loved it!
  • Thanks, but that is not it. I am thinking the story had the doll in different locations around the world. There were several different books if I remember right.
