Park Model propane set-up

If most in your park are set up that way then you can easily get info from those folks in your park, visually see the set ups and have a better idea of what you need in your park vs a bunch of us over internet guessing.

Where we are presently work camping, the local propane co provides the tank and lines, they also do the hook up all at no charge. The park has 100 sites so they deliver weekly as either a keep full service, or on demand. Some propane cos may also sell or rent tanks. In this area it's $1.00 less per gallon delivered than hauling tanks to the propane cos lot.

Well as mentioned before just go to your local propane dealer, you might find their pricing less than an RV store for the same needs. Our local propane dealer, will custom make hoses, that are better than store bought.

Well you have plenty of time between now and MAY to contact local propane and inquire, check with other 'park model' owners in park before deciding what you can do or need to do.


Best to gather info prior to purchasing any items.

That is required by provincial regulation in B.C. We moved a park model, the owner disconnected the service at the old site but was not allowed to hook up again, it had to be done by a licensed gas fitter.

if you mean permanent as staying in the same spot all the time.Why not let the local propane provider supply the tank and hookup.

Get you local gas company to advise and install if possible. They will probably run copper lines instead of hoses for a fixed hookup. Tanks need to be accessable to truck for refilling. They may recommend one larger tank instead.
