Parking the RV?

The first year, I found an outside storage lot, but it wasn't accessible 24/7 and anything on wheels could park there. I was parked next to a cab over Peterbuilt and he worked on it in the lot. The lot was located far enough off the main road to not be noticed by traffic going by which meant that theft or vandalism was possible. The second year, the township where I live had an all metal building for sale where they had kept road equipment, but it was heated by unvented gas radiant heaters and condensation built up in the winter and it "rained" on their equipment. Only one other bidder, and he dropped out at $40,000. He found a building better suited to his needs about a month later. I had two vented gas furnaces installed, set at 40 when I'm not there, but I can crank it up to 70 and work on my RV in my shirt sleeves in about 20 minutes. No more condensation. A 60' x 60' all metal building with no windows. 3 12' x12' doors with openers. About 16 feet off a semi-busy road in a commercial neighborhood, so no theft worries.
I don't want to know how much I spent on filling all that empty space, but it sure is a fun place to have a party.

Parking under a tree means the tree will shed its leaves, sap, etc.. on your roof. So I guess it will partly depend on the type of trees. I would not want to be under a pine tree dripping sap, needles and cones on my roof.

Its all hardwoods.

We have a "resort" membership and part of the package is storage for about $200 a year. Other than 1 trip a year all our stays at the resort so it rather convenient.

We are not able to store our HTT or MH at the house and have used a storage lot since moving here in 2006. The first lot we choose was just down the street from us, but after a few months the HTT got broken into twice. The HTT was complete hidden from street view and the lot is in a quiet area. We moved to a lot a little further away (this one is 2 miles away) and haven't had trouble in the almost six years we've been there.

No reason to start another tread so I have a question. I read somewhere on here that parking a camper under trees is a good thing, Is there truth to this? I am about to move and the easiest parking spot is underneath a row of tree.

We live in a Mfg home park and can't keep the TT or boat in the driveway for more than 24 hours (or maybe it's 48). They do have a locked storage yard though, so I pay $40/mo for 2 spaces less than 1/2 mile from the house. No electricity but we manage.

We park our 28 ft fifth wheel at home next to the garage.
We have good neighbors on both sides.
