Patio rug blowing away?
We carry four empty water jugs on our camping trips. If the wind keeps blowing the patio rug we fill the jugs w/ water and put one on each corner. Works.

I have large 40d nails that I use with fender washers that work very well, BUT I DO NOT USE them on a concrete slab!
Small plastic coffee cans filled with sand will effectively hold the rug in place in all but the strongest winds.
