Basically all 100+ Michigan State Park CG's have free showers and for as long as you want under the water. The only MI SP CG showers we've ever seen being dirty over the last 50 years were in the S.E. Michigan area. However, we were in Pontiac Lake State Park just north of Detroit for 2 nights a couple weeks ago visiting family and the bathouse and showers were spotless. National Park Showers are by a token for 5 minutes of water. Was $.50 per token last November at Platte River CG in Sleeping Bear Dunes Lakeshore National Park. Bery modern clean tiled individual doored shower rooms. The National Parks have the only pay showers we've ever seen in Michigan. Potable water is real cheap in Michigan and we have so much of it. Some areas of the country have little water and much of it stinks so bad you stink worse after a shower than before!
