Pay showers
We have been campers for many years. Until this year, we only found pay showers at state and national parks. Lately, however, it seems that we are running into many private campgrounds charging us.....

In Estes Park CO, both the Estes Park Campground at Mary's Lake and the Estes Park Campground at East Portal have pay showers. They are owned by the Larimer County Department of Natural Resources; the showers are $2 in quarters for the first 6 minutes. We've been there many times and the showers, as well as the entire restrooms, are always very clean. Was just up there this past weekend, we've known about the charges and just keep a supply of quarters in the trailer.
