Paying import duty (or whatever it's officially called) seems to be a real hot point with Canadians. Several years ago I was selling things on eBay and more than once I had a Canadian buyer request that I falsify shipping documents on their behalf so they could avoid paying import duty. One buyer got all huffy when I refused and gave me neutral feedback in retaliation. From that point on, whenever I placed an item up for auction I’d add a special message to my Canadian bidders to not request that I lie for them on the shipping documents. Y’all up in Canada, if this is that big an issue you need to take it up with your elected officials!
