When bought our coach and needed to get tow bar and base plate. The brand I wanted did not have dealer near me. I ordered the parts from the manufacturer's and had them shipped to DD in OHIO. We then went down for a visit and brought the parts back with us. When asked at the boarder what we had bought I told him x#$ - shipping and taxes. We had our son with us and the officer asked if he lived at our address and I no but near by. I had the invoices in my hand and was not trying to hide anything. He let us combine it all as a family purchase. And told us to have a good day. Luck of the draw I guess.
