Paying to dump

Haven't had much trouble finding dump stations ahead of time using All Stays Campgrounds & RVs app on my smart phone :).

Which ones are you referring to? We are aware of the one in Fife, WA

Yep! Saw this a couple of weeks ago. I was filling up at the on-road pump at an island that also had off-road diesel. A pickup pulled in and started filling up with the red stuff.

Anyone who would dump their tanks, on the side of the road. Or anyone who dumps their used furnature and or garbage ( which people do all the time) Is in my opinion nothing but low class scum.

I was walking along a street in Reno, NV and passed by a gas station. Next to the mens bathroom there was a sign that read "Please ask for assistance before dumping". At first I thought wow, first class service where they even help me go to the bathroom. Then I saw the RV's at the nearby dump station.

I'm sure there are a lot of other people that are tempted to do a roadside dump. All it takes is one person passing by with a cell phone, snapping a picture or taking a vid with the license plate visible, and that's a conviction right there.

A few years ago, when I was shopping for a TT, one guy selling his rig did exactly that -- he had a remote control system to allow him to open the gate valves on his rig from inside his truck. This way, he could pull over on a rural road, open the valves, then get going before anyone discovered what happened. Problem was that he let 'er rip right in front of a Texas DPS officer (DPS is equivalent to the California CHP.) The starting fine was $3500, and I think he also spent a stretch in the county pokey too.

The interstate HWY system in KS has free dump stations in warm weather. The town I'm in has a free dump station as well.

Leaving Anacordes Washington a couple years ago found a Hwy.5 rest stop with free coffee at the north end and a multi lane dump station at the south end. Not sure if you needed one after the other.
