Unless it was a different event, that was eastern WA. Pretty sure it was I-90 between Vantage and Ellensburg. Happened on Thursday 8/24. Saw it on the news! And I don't know what the wind conditions were like during that event, but that can be one blustery section of road.News Story wrote:

It looks like he suffered from the Wind PUSH from passing the Big Rig and had no idea how to handle it.. Not to mention, too much weight on the rear of that thing... The Big Rig was doing 68 when he was passed...
I know a few folks that pull with the Excursions, and they can handle that size trailer fine, and legally... IF loaded properly..
What he said^^^
They passed that semi like it was standing still, I would guess the trailer was doing about 75+. To much rear weight and the big wind push from the semi and that was all she wrote. Hope nobody was hurt. - To me......

And he didn't touch the trailer brakes which would've stopped the sway.
Anything else is just a guess at this point.
The Excursion can handle that size trailer if it was setup properly. I know from personal experience.
I'm just glad everyone was OK. - JeremyFrExplorerWhat an idiot! I hope everyone involved was ok, but **** don't ever let this moron tow again!

Looks pretty close to being loaded for bear
A top load deep freeze and at least six patio chairs hanging off the bumper? - azrvingExplorerNot suv loses control. SUV driver is an idiot. To much TT for TV driving too fast and doing it all while trying to pass one of the biggest wind pushers on the road. Weight was probably all wrong. Hopefully they didn't die but hopefully they dont tow anything again. Sort out the idiots one at a time.
