Tried it, paying at the fuel desk does NOT work.
You will not get the 5% discount if you pay for your fuel anywhere other than at the pump .
To All: One of the main reasons I got the PenFed card was to get the 5% cash back in Canada this summer and the Visa card has no transaction fees in Canada. The Amex card fuel cash back is for the US only and has transaction fees in Canada.
I will also be using my PefFed card in the US.
