I typically drive 62 on interstates and am 36' towing a fullsize truck. The problem with pulling over to let someone merge is that by the time they're ahead of me and I can pull back into the right lane the faster traffic is zooming around the right side of me, flipping me off for going slow in the left lane, and I'm stuck there. So I seldom will pull over to let someone merge. It's their job to SAFELY merge into traffic. That means to adjust their speed so they can safely merge into the traffic flow. Quite a few times I've had mergers get PO'ed at me because they couldn't see the vehicle on the side of me blocking me from moving over.
