All valid grumbles.
People on on ramps don't size up what is happening on the highway until they get well into the acceleration lane, or don't look at all. Cars I don't get over for. They have the performance to speed up & get in front of me or slow down & slip in behind. A semi I will get over if I can.
Passing lanes are often on an up grade. Drives me nuts when cars don't speed up to get around me so that everyone can get by. No, I am not losing my momentum on a grade so that more asleep at the wheel car drivers can get by.
If I am the one who wants to pass a slower vehicle when the chance comes up with a passing lane the decision has been made to do it long before reaching the passing lane. The acceleration has begun before reaching the acceleration lane & I sling shot around the slower vehicle & back into the right lane knowing that I will lose speed on a grade so cars behind me can get by.
Much of this is simple courtesy to others & being aware of what is going on around you.
