we do it quite regularily.. but it's on the 40" external TV on my parents DP, it's movie night.. We make sure it doesn't disturb others (sound and picture), and it's usually done before dark.
The only other time we have it on is to watch some football games, and then there starts to be wanderers that end up stopping in to watch the game.
