Sounds like grouches. Maybe some of them should stay home. Campgrounds are for everyone. What they do within reason in a cililized manner should not bother most people.
...and there in lies the problem with some campers...lack of respect for other campers in the same vicinity as themselves...I see this happen alot for the "seasonal" campers who only come out 3 times a year (including this weekend) and ruin it for others...main reason I gave up camping on the holidays
I love it when they get rowdy...LOL I was at Beach Fork State Park a couple of years ago for the fourth of July and the kids had a great time. In fact the park rangers setup a slip and slide right across the lane from my camper. It was great to see the kids enjoying themselves. Sure some of the adults get a little more alcohol in them then they should at times but as long as they are just making noise and not harming anyone nor themselves to me it is no big deal. The rangers were around and packed anyone that had WAY to much to drink back to the campers and you never heard them again. I have read many posts where people say they do not go out on holiday weekends. It just seems like to me that they are letting a lot of life slip by them. BUT it is their choice and it doesn't bother me either. JMO
