Pin head leak in hose

Sewer hose had a tiny little leak. I noticed it the last time I drained the grey water. Do you folks use anything as a patch? Hate to have to buy a new one, but if that's what it takes, so be it.

The pin holes have many causes, one of which is the rusty inside of the rear bumper for storage.
Many of us have solved that issue with the 5" vinyl fence post slinky storage, in fact all my stinky stuff goes in there.

  • Early on in my RV travels, I had a little leak in a sewer hose. While dumping at a gas station, the hose completely failed and "brown trout" and other unpleasant items were running down their drive! Yikes, what a mess to clean up.

Get a new Rhino kit and you won't have to change it for years.

Once you have seen or experienced a 'small' hole in a sewer hose become a break in the dam of flowing raw sewage you will quickly understand that 'buying a new hose', versus patching it, is money well spent. :W

I finally gave up on the cheap stinky slinky's and bought a Rhino Sewer Hose kit. BEST thing I have ever bought for my RV. Nearly indestructible, best dang connectors made and makes dumping a totally different experience. I'm just sorry I waited so long to buy one.

This. A Rhino kit is well worth the money.

Been using one for years. Never a problem.

  • I have had great luck with that spray seal in the can. I fixed some cracked planters with it last spring and still do not leak a year later.
  • Yep....just did this. Get some Flex Seal at the hardware store. Worked great!!! You know, the spray stuff. They have different colors now....I used black.
