Pintle Ring Hitch
I am renting a.24 foot car hauler. It comes.with a ring Pintle hitch. I will also have to rent the Pintle receiver as well. Curious why some trailers come with this kind of hitch?

Normally pintle hitch is only used in commercial equipment, and usually has more than 800 pounds of hitch weight. Rated up to 30,000 pounds GTWR and well over 4,000 pounds of hitch weight, the Pintle hitch is very strong.
I hope the truck you are towing with is strong enough. Will the trailer have electric trailer brakes? Or surge brakes?
