Pirit Heated Water Hose owners
The box says not to use an extension cord. However the power cord will not reach from the hose connection to the power outlet. Has anyone ever used an extension cord?

Mine has been on extension cord for a year, no problems. Just be sure you prevent moisture entry that might trip the circuit and let it freeze. I use electrical tape on the plugs.
