planing to tow 3500 lb TT
Thinking about towing 3500 lb TT with half ton chevy w/ 350 eng. possibly in NC mtns. Any thoughts/comments appreciated.

- No problems with that. Presuming you're talking the last 2 gens of the 5.7, tbi or Vortec. I've pulled much larger, long distances with those trucks, 90s models.
If buying, I'd look for the 5 speed, either 2500 or 93? And later 1500 had a NV4500 trans which is bulletproof. The aluminum trans of the early 90s 1500s was not as reliable but still Bette than an auto back then. Put over 200k on 90 1500 5 speed and about 60k on another, no issues.
Only thing I see as a problem is make sure it's in good shape. You're taking 20+ year old trucks.
