well it is looking like i will be forced to retire within 10 years. (58 now). what states are rv frendly with the taxes for the rvs? as ca is way to high now, let alone after my income gets cut do...

I guess that's up to you but I can tell you that iam busier now than when I was working. my father-in-law sat on his couch and watched TV all day and had less than a year in retirement. that's not me. I will have an occasional 'personal holiday' where I don't do much of anything but those are rare. and just because you'll be forced to retire doesn't mean you have to stop working. if it gives you true pleasure than find another job or volunteer. hopefully you've been planning for this day and have your post-retirement finances in order...you know, the 3-legged stool concept. pension + investment + social security = comfy retirement.
