  • Almost reported this to the Mod as it seemed to be just link like those spammers do.

But then saw the OP was a senior member, so clicked the link. Here's what it's about:

KNIGHTDALE, N.C. — The Knightdale Police Department is asking for help in locating a Massachusetts man who was fulfilling his lifelong dream of bicycling down the east coast when he disappeared.

Richard Moreau, 66, was last seen on Sept. 17 when he left a Verizon store located at 6807 Knightdale Blvd. He was riding a green bicycle and wearing a black and gray helmet, red riding gloves, black sneakers, and shorts and a t-shirt.

The article continues on. Hope he's located and nothing happened to him.
  • Thank you for posting this. I do not know this man but pray all is well and appreciate the concern shown here.
  • Per his facebook page: Richard Moreau, beloved husband and family man was found deceased earlier today at a camp site he had made in the woods in the Middlesex, NC area. Officers on the scene said that it seems he passed in his sleep. The investigation is ongoing.

Wonder if he knew he was going to die and just wanted one last road trip....prayers.
  • So sad. I just read an article on a local website.
  • Nothing like a man going out doing what he loved doing. Not bad at all IMHO.

    RIP Richard.

Yes, his passing is sad for his family, BUT he was on his adventure of a life time!

I see that as far better than dieing in a retirement home!
