We have this situation more than most of you, but I will provide a universally workable solution that I have been using.
Passcars are not 8' wide and most (not all) are better performing than my classic coach. So, when we end up in that situation, we will pull over and invite the tailback to pass us. Then they are behind the Amish wagon. They can often pass without crossing the centerline. In more than a few instances, we have ended up first in line behind the wagon again. If I am lucky, by then we have hit a section of road where I can pass.

We have lots of bicycle riders in our two lane winding roads. If an RV is too wide too pass the bicycle while staying in the lane, then it is the impediment - not the bicycle. So I will pull over and let folks pass me, and then they will easily pass the bicyclist. By the time I am back behind the bicyclist, (s)he is usually now aware of my larger vehicle and will watch for a place to pull over more so I can pass.
