Cars behind me, with plenty of room to pass, obey the law by not crossing those lines, as we all lumber our way up to my usual 55. Regardless of the road markings, there's tons of room to pass, and with my going slow it's much safer.
Now we're a train going down the road, I'm slowly accelerating, still nobody will pass me. At 55, now there is NOT a safe way to pass with road curves and double yellows. I can see the drivers getting impatient.
I'm sorry, but if I'm following someone like that I pass as soon as I hit the main road, regardless of road markings.
