Not to Hijack but, to your point, I can't get over the logic that pedestrians have the right of way over a motor vehicle. And vehicles must stop for pedestrians in cross walks. Which one can stop or change direction quicker for avoidance? And which one has the higher burden of risk?
Just seems backward to me. Maybe someone can explain that logic?
