DW and I used a new one of these yesterday for the first time while opening our pool for the season. I attached it to the end of our heavy duty rubber hose to reach the last few feet to our pool from the hydrant. When I attached the nozzle to the plastic end it leaked immediately and no matter how hard I tightened it the leaking wouldn't stop. I changed to a different nozzle and it still leaked but not as badly. The cheap plastic ends are going to hurt this product in the long run because the threads are so soft.:S
