Link was to a video, useless where I'm parked.
I used to have a 50' Flat hose. it lasted several years but finally developed more leaks than I could address so I dumped it. (Well I think I did, it may still be in the "Basement" waiting for the old round-tuit)
I got a pocket hose, used it one time so far... Not terribly impressed but I did perform as advertised. And it did not leak.
Considering I got that flat hose back in my PUP days, and from there spent aboutr a decade (or more) in a "hard side" trailer, and it's been 8 years since I towed that in.. I'd say the flat hose did well.
