I have lived in the same area for 30 years, and have driven through the same intersections year after year, lately with all the cameras being put up, the timing of these lights have been altered, by that I mean the time between yellow to red has been changed from a car going 35MPH and the light changing to yellow right at the cross walk and being able to get all the way across the intersection before it turned to red, now you cant even get half way across the intersection before its red, keep in mind I have driven through the same intersection for 30 years so yes I have noticed the difference, city's are trying to generate revenue by any means necessary, up to and including tampering with the timing of the lights, even at 25 to 35 feet from the intersection I really don't think I could bring my truck and trailer (34,000 pounds) to a stop from 35MPH at the cross walk
