I never borrow from the TC, but DH will liberally "borrow" from the flashlights, tools, etc.
Then we'd head out and not have ANY flashlights when we arrived at CG. Got so bad that I labeled all of them with long, garish tags. Now I can spot an "RV" item from 50ft. away :) And DS will read the funny labels and immediately rat out his dad so I know he's bee pilfering from my fully stocked TC!
Worst was the awning bungee cords (that are an exact special length). I even bought them in neon blue (to differentiate from our regular ones) and he STILL stole them over the winter for various "projects" he needed to cover with a trap. I ended up putting marking ribbon on them in fluttery streamers. Looks like h#ll on the awning but at least I have them when I need them... :(
In short I'd rather go without than pilfer from my RV stash!
