Up and down at various times, not just day versus night. Down for moments of privacy and to control direct sunlight. Down might mean the translucent "day" shades, or the opaque "night" shades. When I have no lights on inside, might use the "day" shades at night.

Up for letting light in, for ventilation, for looking outside. If I sleep with windows open, the shades on those windows will be up.

I don't care; I am not shy, but my wife is. Down.

If people don't want to see something they might not like they don't have to look.

When down in FL for the winter I've noticed in our park that Class A's have their shades up during the evenings more often than other RVs (can see their TVs on when we take an evening walk). My only guess is that their front windows have shades that are a pain to deal with.

Our shades go down at dark and up when we are dressed in the morning.

Open during day unless sun is too bright on one side. Always down at night.
On really hot days some are down during day. Keep it cooler.
Like the fresh air at night.

Our shades go down at dark.

Only time they go down is on very hot sunny day. Windshield never gets covered. Day or night.
