Tank level indicators were designed by an evil mind. EVIL. Their only purpose is to frustrate RV owners who insist on continuing their quest to make them work properly.
Just get in to the routine of knowing how many days you can go to fill the black, how many days it takes to fill the gray and just use the calender method to calculate the dump routine. Then you spend your time enjoying the RV.
