Our dealer has always been excellent. So much so that we've bought 3 trailers new from them since 1993.
Most likely you saved at least 20% by purchasing on Amazon. The dealer markups are high. Amazon is usually the best price for what ever you ma be looking for. I've been buying car parts from them for the past couple of years now.
If I was you I would write a polite letter to the owner/management telling them your experiences and you will be taking your money elsewhere on your next purchase.
