SS washer tubs make great fire pits and the dome lid from an old round Weber charcoal grill fits nicely and tightly on mine… mine still has the shaft attached, that fits nicely and securely into a cast iron umbrella stand… it is off the ground high enough it won’t damage the grass or even a wood deck under it… while it can be moved and is movable I wouldn’t necessarily consider it to be portable for camping because of its size and not being collapsible… but for my base camp I wouldn’t trade it for another kind…
